Butterfield`s in Parrish

I was told by the local snowbirds to come and eat at this little gem in Ellenton. Boy was it worth it! I tried the Parrish Panini and my friend tried the Paatrami on Rye. Delicious and price is just right. For dessert we had to try their homemade baklava. To die for when heated up and perfect for 2 because it is so rich! Worth the 20 minute wait! Bon Apetite!

We have been going here for years and it never disappoints. It is one of our go to places.

Food was very good with large portions at decent prices. Bathrooms were clean. Staff was very friendly and we didn't have to wait long for our food.

Got good service, good food, and a good price. Got there and had a little bit of a wait, but the church crowd was showing up, so that's to be expected. Went for breakfast, but will go back for lunch too.

Small family place great food and service. We had a party of 11 and they got us seated no problem. You will notice the menu says "fluffy" egg omlets, well let me tell you they are. With out a doubt the fluffyest I have had. I tried there Greek omlet and it was very good. Gryo meat, onions, tomatoes, feta cheese with the Greek sause on the side. Hash browns were hot and crispy. My son had the vegaterin eggs benidct and he loved it. Definitely a place to put on your list.

This place was great! The homemade biscuits are huge and pretty tasty! This is a good place to go for a classic diner feel if you are in the area. I wish they had homefries though and slightly better coffee, that's about the only thing I would change. Definitely recommend!

Great place for breakfast. We have enjoyed our meal each time, even took my parents there last time they were in town. Great omelets.

I found this place last year as my husband and I were house searching in the area. Now we go every weekend. The staff is so friendly and the food is so good. The coffe is very flavorful too. Be ready to wait 15 to 20 minutes to be seated in the mornings but it's worth it!

Great service great food more than I could eat

They have a BLT club in addition to just a normal BLT, which is great and very filling. The fries are just okay. Overall, the place is great for breakfast and lunch, but there is almost always a long wait. It is worth it, though.

A hidden gem! Wonderful food, great prices, and an extremely friendly staff. The Mushroom Swiss Burger was awesome, and the Blackend Grouper that my wife had was very good. Definitely check this place out!

Went there and got the Italian Skillet (I got mine without cheese, as I requested). It was very good and I didn't notice until I was almost done with it that I didn't add salt or pepper to it.Next time, I think I'll try the Greek Skillet.As another reviewer noted, the biscuits are massive, but very good as well.

Absolutely excellent food. I am from out of town and we tried this diner on a whim... Food was large portion. Super fresh and super delicious. Staff was super friendly and very attentive. Excellent in price. I'm sad I dont live closer because this gem of a diner would be my spot.

This is a cute little side cafe. The salad was fresh and quiet tasty. They have a very extensive menu and the food is like down home cooking. Plus they give you double portions. So be prepared to take home enough for dinner.

Dropping a deuce right now after eating one of the best breakfasts I’ve had in a long time. Figured I’d give a shout out while I’m on the pot. Highly recommend. Beautiful biscuits.

Excellent place for breakfast, great friendly staff. Large selections for lunch all good. We haven't had a bad meal yet. The prices are great. Closes at 3:00. No dinners.

Good food. Good servings, don't be in a rush. They had a help wanted sign in the window when we came, and had a long line waiting to pay. Every dish we had was very good - florentine Benedict, fried grouper, cowboy steak sandwich (prime rib steak) and Greek special (Greek salad and spinach pie). Food was cooked fresh to order so little wait. Nice servers.

Good food and service. Restaurant was clean. They moved people in and out quickly so we didn't have to wait too long. Will definitely eat there again.

Being from the Tampa bay are nothing says lunch quite like a grouper sandwich and let me tell you, it was one hell of a sandwich. It was near a pound and falling off both sides of the bun. The tartar sauce is all homemade and tastes delicious , and not to mention the prices are super economic. That sandwich at lunch was less than $14 with a drink. To put that in perspective the market price for grouper right now is $24.99 a pound. Honestly, I question how they didn't lose money on this meal.

Great service, great food, great prices, very clean!

Coffee tasted stale. Potatoes were greasy. English muffin was burnt and like a rock. Think I was going to send back and ask for another one... I've seen the show and the cook wipes the food on his 'junk'

Today, I had the Turkey Bacon Club, it was very good. Pretty good service as well.

Everything here is delish!!! Small place but worth the wait

The only reason I think this restaurant deserves the one star I am forced to give them is because of their extensive menu, which is not always a good thing. Maybe they have something good on that menu that is good but what I got was bland and cold. The service was horrible and the food was really overpriced. I got a waitress named Kalina, I think that is what she said her name was. She was THE WORST waitress I have ever had. Never checked on me once, she tried to add things to my bill that was supposed to come with the meal, got noticeably frustrated when I asked for ketchup, and had a very bad attitude/demeanor that she did not even try to hide. I would not recommended this place to my worst enemy. Kalina/Karina was THE WORST waitress I ever had and I will never waste my money there again. I went into the restaurant in a happy and joyful mood and left mad and disapointed... 2 thumbs down, I wish google would allow me to give them negative stars to be quite honest.

Great food, but 25 mins for an egg sandwich to go... yikes

Food was exactly as ordered and delicious... we both ordered breakfast. I am picky and always order my toast grilled. It was perfect. Bacon was cooked perfectly medium. I added cheese to the creamy grits, they were delicious! Service was excellent & they were busy. No complaints!

It's been great breakfast all last basketball season . Now soccer times a little later and great lunch. The waitress gave my daughter a high five and encouraging words . Great atmosphere everytime too aside from the great food.

Not only were all 4 of our meals absolutely delicious, but the staff was also super friendly! We didn't have to wait to be seated, although I imagine it does get crowded at times. Our meal was ready in a timely manner and was cooked to perfection. I can't wait to visit again soon!

This is my all time favorite breakfast spot in my area! You cannot go wrong no matter what your order. Their Benedict dishes are all fantastic (especially because of their hollandaise!)
